Project - Essential Employability Skills

Project funded by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC)

Project objectives

• Document the development and methods used by canadian colleges and institutes to integrate Essential Employability Skills into their programs.

• Develop case studies and an inventory of resources describing the integration of Essential Skills by diverse student populations; and,

• Develop a communication approach including a national forum to share the results of this research with a network of institutions.

Results achieved

• Seven case studies are available;

• A national forum held and its results were communicated;

• A summary of the project's results.
