ACCC Travel Insurance Program

Information Update (September 5, 2006)

• To confirm that your institution already has insurance coverage that meets the CIDA requirements, please use the Travel Insurance Form for Canadians Travelling Outside Canada. (The CIDA requirements are listed on the form.)

• To request insurance coverage from ACCC for out-of-Canada travel, please use the Travel Insurance Form for Canadians Travelling Outside Canada.

• To request insurance coverage (which adheres to the ACCC insurance program) for individuals traveling to Canada, please use the In-Canada Trainee Insurance Request Form.

The completed form must be addressed to the ACCC Project Officer assigned to the project and sent by fax at 613-746-6721 at least two weeks prior to the traveller's date of departure. Once the request has been approved, each traveller will be enrolled in the appropriate insurance coverage program. Proof of enrollment documentation (when applicable) will be sent to the Project Coordinator (or directly to the traveller, if requested).
