University Transfer Programs

College to university transfer programs, associate degrees offered by colleges and institutes in British Columbia, and joint degree programs offered by some institutions across the country are also providing many opportunities for people to pursue a university degree by completing the first one to two years at a college or institute and then transferring into a baccalaureate degree program within a university. Newcomers to Canada may prefer to pursue a degree through college to university transfer programs because they may initially benefit from the smaller classes and inclusive teaching environments offered at colleges and institutes.
