ACCC / Dell Alliance

On January 25, 2001 ACCC and Dell Canada announced a national alliance agreement. Dell has renewed their partnership for another five years. The Agreement allows ACCC member colleges and institutes to purchase state-of-the-art Dell branded products at aggressively discounted prices. The potential savings generated by this Agreement can be viewed as a value-added benefit of ACCC membership.

New offerings specifically for ACCC members include:

• Special pricing: Every quarter, Dell will post special pricing for ACCC members on desktop, notebook and server products that can be ordered on-line through Dell’s Premier Page or by phone.

• Employee Purchase Plan: Colleges and institutes can set up an easy-to- administer employee purchase plan that provides employees with access to the same products and prices available to their college or institute.

• Student Purchase Program: Colleges and institutes can place a link to Dell's Online Store on their website, sub-sites or screen savers that will give students direct access to Dell's best student pricing including special officers on hardware and peripheral bundles. All sales through the Dell link generate commissions for the host institution that can be used to support student services or other key priorities. • Awards of Excellence: Dell will continue to sponsor ACCC’s annual Awards of Excellence program in recognition of excellence within Canadian colleges and institutes.
