Ann Buller is the President and CEO of Centennial College in Toronto. Her career spans over 20 years in the College system, where her work has demonstrated her belief that colleges must meet Canada’s economic and social inclusion imperatives. Leadership approaches that enable major transformational change have become President Buller’s hallmark, while her commitment to the values of a learning centred college has transformed Centennial College.
Ann Buller assumed the presidency of Centennial College in June 2004. Under her direction, Centennial launched its Signature Learning Experience which seeks to develop in each student and staff member learning, teaching and working competencies that value diversity and difference, and embrace and promote equity and inclusion.
President Buller sits on various boards and committees, including the Invest Toronto Board of Directors. This allows her to advocate for Centennial and the college system while developing important partnerships with key decision makers and business leaders. She has earned numerous college marketing awards and awards of excellence for student retention, organizational development and leadership including: the College Presidents/Chancellors Award by NCSPOD (North American Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development); the Margot Franssen Leadership Award by Microskills Canada; the Constance E. Hamilton Award on the Status of Women; and most recently, Ms. Buller was recognized as one of 2010 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 and is a recipient of the Cisco Public Leaders Award.
