ACCC Secretariat goes ISO 9002!
The ACCC Secretariat began the process of obtaining ISO 9002 (1994)
certification over the summer and is fast-tracking the process for an early 1997
completion date.
Certification will mean that the Secretariat is joining businesses in over 80
countries worldwide which are using quality management and quality assurance systems. It
will raise the profile of both College Canada and ACCC's international operations as
certified quality management services in their respective markets.
The long-term benefit is the development of quality systems, processes, and
procedures that will ensure membership and partners around the world that the Secretariat
is operating at a world class standard of quality.
An Implementation Team of six staff members are currently busy researching and
preparing the ISO policy and procedures manuals. For further information, contact the ACCC
